Hadiqa Kiani’s UK Humanitarian Tour
Some journeys are measured in miles; others are measured in lives changed.
In January 2026, Aghosh UK and Alkhidmat Foundation had the honour of welcoming internationally renowned humanitarian and artist Hadiqa Kiani to the United Kingdom for a six-city humanitarian tour. This was not a concert tour, nor was it organised as an entertainment programme. It was a mission of compassion, bringing together communities from across the country to stand with the widows and orphans of Gaza.

The purpose of the tour was simple: to give a voice to those who had lost everything, to remind people that the suffering of Gaza’s children must never be forgotten and to encourage communities throughout Britain to become part of the solution.
Over five unforgettable days, thousands of people attended events across the country. Families, community leaders, volunteers, professionals, students and supporters gathered under one roof with one common purpose – to help children who had already endured more than any child ever should.
A Humanitarian, Not a Performer
Although Hadiqa Kiani is recognised around the world as one of Pakistan’s most respected artists, she chose not to perform during the tour. Instead, she stood before audiences simply as a humanitarian.
Her message was heartfelt, sincere and deeply personal. Throughout every event she spoke of her unconditional love for the children of Gaza and the responsibility we all share towards those who cannot speak for themselves.

She reflected on how, for many years, she had wanted to become directly involved in supporting the children of Gaza. She expressed her gratitude to Allah for bringing her together with Alkhidmat Foundation and Aghosh UK, whose partnership had opened the door for that aspiration to become a reality.
"People were not simply listening to a celebrity; they were listening to someone whose compassion was evident in every word."
Six Cities United by One Cause
The tour travelled across six distinct British cities, each uniting under a singular atmosphere of tears, hope, and immense generosity:
Above all, there was an overwhelming determination that the children of Gaza should know they had not been forgotten.
Leading the Appeal
At every event Hadiqa personally took to the podium to lead the fundraising appeal. Her challenge to each audience was clear: together, she urged those present to provide enough support to sponsor one hundred orphans.

Her words came not from prepared notes but from the heart. She reminded audiences that every child deserves safety, education, love and hope regardless of where they are born.
The response was extraordinary. Families pledged sponsorships, children encouraged their parents to donate, and businesses stepped forward with generous contributions. By the end of the tour, the campaign had raised hundreds of thousands of pounds, ensuring that many vulnerable widows and orphans would receive the support they desperately needed.
Confidence in the Cause

Throughout the tour Hadiqa spoke warmly of both Alkhidmat Foundation and Aghosh UK. Having worked alongside both organisations, she encouraged people to give with confidence, explaining that she had witnessed first-hand their commitment to ensuring donations are used responsibly, wisely and for those who need them most.
Looking Ahead
Hadiqa also shared her hope, Insha’Allah, to return later in the year and join Aghosh UK in Cairo, where children evacuated from Gaza were receiving care through Aghosh UK’s humanitarian programme. She expressed her wish to meet the children personally, spend time with them, and witness the direct impact of the generosity shown by communities across the United Kingdom.
A Gift Beyond Measure
One of the most emotional moments of the entire tour came during the final event. Only days earlier, Dr Adeel had returned from Cairo, where he had spent time with the children of Gaza in Aghosh UK’s care. During his visit, the children had presented him with a hand-painted picture as a token of their appreciation.

Standing before a packed audience, Dr Adeel explained that there was no gift of material value that could adequately express the gratitude owed to Hadiqa. Instead, he wished to present her with the very painting the children had entrusted to him.
As Hadiqa accepted the painting, emotion was visible across the hall. Holding it close, she shared that it would remain with her for the rest of her life. It represented hope.
A Tour That Will Be Remembered
History often remembers the headlines; charities remember the people. At Aghosh UK, we will remember Hadiqa Kiani not simply as a world-renowned artist, but as a humanitarian whose compassion inspired communities throughout the United Kingdom to stand together for the children of Gaza.
May Allah accept every effort, every donation and every sincere intention. Ameen.
