About Water Filtration Plants
Aghosh UK’s filtration facilities combine state-of-the-art purification technology with highly community-focused solutions. To produce clean, potable water that strictly meets public health and environmental safety regulatory standards, each plant utilizes a rigorous, multi-step process:
Phase 1: Sedimentation & Coagulation: Suspended physical particles, sand, and heavy debris are separated and filtered out from the raw water source.
Phase 2: Multi-Stage Filtration: Water passes through specialized media layers, including activated carbon adsorption and specialized micro-filters, effectively capturing organic chemical contaminants, bad odors, and unpleasant tastes.
Phase 3: Advanced Purification (Reverse Osmosis): For areas dealing with complex mineral imbalances or high TDS (Total Dissolved Solids), advanced Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes are deployed to strip away microscopic impurities at a molecular level.
Phase 4: Complete Disinfection: Before distribution, the water undergoes absolute chemical or UV (Ultraviolet) light disinfection, destroying 99.9% of harmful bacteria, viruses, and waterborne pathogens.
