Sponsor a Deep Water Well in Pakistan
While fresh water exists globally, countless poor communities across rural Pakistan face severe water scarcity. Left with no choice, families are forced to collect water from unsafe, contaminated sources, risking their health and undermining human dignity.
Our Deep Water Well projects bridge this gap, restoring access to life’s most essential resource and creating lasting, positive change for vulnerable families.
You Can Help Provide A WASH Initiative
Your contribution funds the heavy-duty excavation and engineering required to bring clean water to the surface. Sponsor a well today as a beautiful act of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) for yourself or a loved one.

What is a Deep Water Well & How Does It Work?
Water wells are traditional, highly reliable, and sustainable sources of clean water in rural Pakistan. We utilize specialized engineering techniques to ensure each well provides clean water for generations:
Deep Earth Excavation: We excavate the earth down to significant depths—ranging from 150 to 200 feet—to reach pure, deep underground water reserves.
Advanced Drilling Techniques: Depending on the terrain, digging is carried out using precise techniques including drilling, boring, and blasting.
Reinforced Structural Integrity: Heavy-duty cemented rings or stone-built walls are installed throughout the open well. This provides maximum structural strength, preventing collapse and extending the well’s lifespan.
Dual Extraction Methods: Water can be drawn using mechanical water motors or traditional hand pulleys, making these wells completely sustainable and operational even in remote villages with limited or no access to electricity.
Access to clean water is a universally recognized human right. The Aghosh UK WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) Program is a core pillar of our global service, dedicated to improving lives and promoting sustainable human well-being.
We take a holistic approach to community development. We don’t just build water wells; we empower communities by educating them on the vital connections between safe water, health, sanitation, and daily hygiene practices. To maximize our long-term impact, we collaborate extensively with on-ground partners, civil society organizations, government stakeholders, and media platforms.
