Gaza’s healthcare sector has been utterly devastated over the past two years. Healthcare workers have been killed, and hospitals and universities have been destroyed or severely damaged.

Alhamdulillah! In a monumental triumph of resilience over adversity, 113 final-year medical students from the Islamic University of Gaza have officially graduated as doctors. Supported throughout their arduous academic journey by Aghosh UK and Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, these extraordinary graduates stood tall during a heartfelt ceremony where Chairman Dr. Adeel Riaz addressed the gathering remotely. We extend our warmest congratulations to the new doctors, their families, and dedicated teachers, while expressing deep gratitude to our generous donors whose support made this milestone possible — may Allah (SWT) reward you all abundantly.
Despite the overwhelming challenges around them, Gaza’s medical students remain dedicated to their vocation. In 2025, 113 medical students sponsored by Aghosh UK graduated in Gaza, while students from Gaza also completed their training and graduated from Universities in Pakistan. Their efforts and achievements are a true demonstration of dedication and resilience.
